General tips & tricks
Before having our crew in your house or business, move all the furniture and accessories out of the work area.
Make sure that there is at least a 3 feet buffer zone from the stored items and the zone to be processed.
Closets require at least a 3 feet clearance from the floor to the hanging clothes.
Beware of cardboard boxes that could suck up moisture and may leave an unsightly spot when removed.
Computers and their wiring must be removed from the floor or put on a plastic stand (soda or milk crate) and do not forget the printer or other accessories.
Floor stripper and rinse water do not mix well with electronics and are not covered by any warranty.
Carpet Removal
Removing the carpet yourself will save you money and may avoid surprises in some cases.
It is recommended that the carpeting be off the floor in order to obtain a firm estimate.
Any floor covering my hide defects from a Terrazzo floor: stains, cracks, holes or in extreme cases, moisture seeping through the concrete slab.
Our experts will present you with an accurate and honest evaluation of their condition.
NEVER PULL THE NAILS from the tack strips from a Terrazzo floor, the result will create holes as the terrazzo shatters around the nails. Simply, break the strips in between the nails and leave the those to be ground later.
ALWAYS WEAR PROTECTIVE GEAR, gloves, goggles, knee pads, long pants, shoes, etc...
Repair your Terrazzo floor
Nails will require grinding at the floor level.
Doing so will make them RED HOT,
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GRAB THOSE UNTIL THEY COOLED DOWN!!!
DO NOT FORGET THE PROTECTIVE GEAR.
Existing holes must be at least 1/8" deep for the patching to hold firmly and permanently.
We recommend that these be filled by our expert team with a special concrete mix.

Cleaning any floor
Keep your floor free from dirt or loose materials.
Wash your floor regularly.
We recommend the use of Multi-Purpose surface cleaner.
Mix about half of the recommended quantity with water, spread generously.
Ring the mop dry and remove the solution from the floor.
Rinsing should not be needed.
FYI: The use of water and vinegar to maintain your floor is a myth.
